Leaders Assessment Key

Superior Knowledge How effectively is the Leader demonstrating an understanding of the core principles of effective leadership from the reading assigned to them based on their presentations and level of engagement during leadership meetings, team meetings, and on/off the field activities.
Self Confidence Asses the Leader’s willingness to communicate in front of fellow leaders and teammates, initiative to take ownership of leadership and team meetings, and the ability to influence his peers during team competitions and activities.
Disregard of Self Rate the Leader’s application of humility (their coachability and selflessness); their desire to seek out and apply solutions to problems affecting the team or its players over their own personal desires; and their ability to understand their own weaknesses while incorporating a conscious effort to improve in those areas.
Understanding People Score the Leader’s capability to form trusting relationships with their teammates, to motivate their teammates to succeed during competitions or times of adversity, and to understand their teammates weaknesses while consistently implementing ways to overcome those weaknesses and improve the lives of their teammates, both on the team and at a personal level.

·   Recognizes and exploits new resources and innovative methods to improve leadership and team meetings.

·   Suggests innovative approaches to address problems on the team which produce gains in team performance, quality and efficiency.

·   Presentations of assigned reading during leadership meetings far surpasses expectations; captures critical points while achieving a superb level of understanding amongst the group. (The leader takes complex subjects and simplifies for easier understanding)

·   Superb organization displayed in leadership and player meetings.
