Austin Jones | 2025

The 4th Down Foundation is proud to award the 2025 Dylan Scott Arnold Award to Austin Jones of Holly Springs High School, an athlete who truly embodies the leadership qualities that defined Dylan’s legacy. Austin set a new standard for what it means to lead from the front. When several teammates began skipping workouts, he didn’t complain or point fingers, he took action. Austin reserved a room after school, gathered his fellow leaders, and personally met with the athletes who had fallen off track. Rather than lecturing them, he encouraged them to recommit to winter workouts and reminded them of the goals they had set together. It was one of the most impressive and creative accountability efforts our program has seen.

Austin’s leadership extended far beyond that moment. His energy and charisma on the sidelines lifted the entire team, and his presence made a noticeable impact on the culture of the locker room and the field. He leads with positivity, initiative, and genuine care for the people around him, qualities that make him not only a standout athlete, but a standout human being.
